The Doris Day Animal League (DDAL) combined operations in 2006 with The Humane Society of the United States to continue its work as one of the leading lobbying and public service animal welfare organizations for almost 20 years. It is a proud legacy of meaningful accomplishments, and there’s still so much work to do on the legislative level.

Doris Day Animal Foundation provides annual grants for Spay Day USA to pay for spays and neuters in more than 10 states across the country to help eliminate pet overpopulation. Spay Day USA is a very special program for Doris. Her Doris Day Animal League created the program and has been responsible for more than one million spays and neuters nationally.
